REFLECTING ON WHAT WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR
Thanksgiving News

Which markets will be open?

ALL* of our current markets will be open. This weekend is a great time to stock up on fall flavors for your feast.

Next weekend is a great time to get some healthy vegetables to accompany your leftovers.

OUR THURSDAY MARKET ON FLORIN WILL BE OPEN for limited hours on Thanksgiving Day.

Open 8 AM to 11 AM this Thursday in the parking lot on 65th St between Sky Pkwy and Florin Rd. Next to US Foods Chefstore.

What's in season?

Cruciferous veggies, such as kale, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, greens, and cabbage.

Roasting veggies, such as winter squash, beets, carrots, and potatoes.

Mandarin oranges, a small portion of the very first of the season, freshly picked from the trees.

All kinds of apples and asian pears.

Persimmons, both hychia (for baking) and fuyu (for eating firm).

Pomegranates full of ruby arils.

And more, of course! There are always interesting surprises to find at the farmers' market.

What are we thankful for?

We are so lucky to have all of the diverse bounty picked fresh and made available to buy directly at the Certified Farmers' Markets.

Thank you to the farmers and farm workers!

And we are incredibly happy to see you coming back week after week to experience the changing seasons with us. Supporting farmers directly makes a big difference in their lives and also keeps the community resource of farmers markets going strong.

Thank you.

*While our markets will be open rain or shine, we do close markets for dangerous stormy weather conditions.
