What's changed?

Three of our markets have been passed on to new operators. Alchemist CDC will be operating the Arden Arcade Certified Farmers' Market at Country Club Plaza, the Sunrise Light Rail Certified Farmers' Market in Rancho Cordova, and the Florin Light Rail Certified Farmers' Market in South Sacramento.

Please note: The Florin Certified Farmers' Market has moved locations in 2024, two miles west to 3001 Florin Rd.

You can now find the farmers every Thursday morning in the Florin Light Rail Parking lot right on Florin Road.

(New development plans in our previous location has required this change.)

What's in season?

All the summer favorites are making their way to market. Heirloom tomatoes in a rainbow of colors. Sweet stone fruit including peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, and pluots. There is a variety of berries from the coast and the valley. Farmworkers are picking a great variety of hefty sugary melons. Grapes and pears are just now ripening. There are plenty of good stir-fry veggies in the market including eggplant, zucchini, okra, and peppers.
